Gus and Ryan: Wha' happen?

I had really grown to like Gus and Ryan, two of the doormen who were
let go last week.  No one is saying what happened, but I suspect it was
just a common layoff.  I've asked Randi but she won't give an answer. 
Does anyone know why they were let go?  Sign o' the times or was there more to it?  It's too bad as both of them, particularly Gus, were very good door people IMO.

Gus and Ryan were the best ones there...Always there to help and knew you by name..Apperntly Gus had jumped a subway tunstile two years ago so the new company felt he was a danger..And Ryan they let go because Gus had vouched for him when the new company came in....but the truth is is that Gus and Ryan did their jobs unlike the ones their now..especially the girl on the day shift...has such an attitude and never lets me know that I have packages ..Gus and Ryan would be the ones to tell me..If anything she should go ......

Also, now Dorissa has been moved to the overnight shift, which confuses me.  I've just called the manager and he said her shift change was necessary because she wasn't performing.  My question is: who believes this?  I'd say they're shaking down some of the best people we have there.  I suspect there's something fishy going on...

gus and ryan...they were the best door people...EVER (and dorissa!) its cool that this new shade ball company hired steven back... but still whats up with that scary new day lady? shes super loud, never gets up and is really unprofessional! i had to wait for someone else to start their shift so i could get my dry cleaning last week. as for the leasing office... you don't really think they care do they?

So, I guess there's nothing else to be done?  I for one don't find the new service/employees to be an improvement.  I'd like to contact someone, but I don't really know who.  I guess I'll reach out to the Avalon corporate office.
