Does anyone have any suggestions for a dog walker or dog walking service in the area? I just recently moved from the financial district and need to find a new dog walker.
Thanks.
I have done a little research on that dog walking subject.
Pet Store has a service but there is a turnover and you have a person working for money not necessarily for love of dogs.
Ryan Stewart is the best choice given that he is a dog trainer. He has amazing control over dogs (like an east coast dog whisperer) as well as knowledge of breeds and various trouble shooting issues (like agression, fear, health). He's insured.
Ronny Beyer is a fairly steady guy with a good temperament for handling dogs...he's from Germany.
Cynthia Zapata has been in the area the longest...even if she doesn't have the skill that someone like Ryan has, you get the feeling that she really loves dogs.
Tiffini does nights and sitting. Also insured. Doesn't handle problem dogs very well, but is good with pampering your pooch if you like.
Patti does days and is fairly steady but is a little older (40+) so a long vigorous walk is not her specialty.
Those are the ones I have seen consistently (I might be missing some).
Feel free to email me for a recommendation:

I have used Ryan Stewart for my dog. He is amazing and my dog has calmed down a lot around other dogs since Ryan started walking him (My boy used to be a little agressive with other dogs).
