Hello.  I'm new to the site.  My husband and I are (seriously) considering buying in LIC.  We've narrowed our choices down to Hunters Point or the Foundry (which, admittedly, are very different!).  We like the "extras" being offered by the Foundry, i.e., paid transfer taxes/storage, but it seems that Hunters Point is a better value per sq. ft.

Whichever we choose, we would like to move sooner rather than later.  Hunters Point has told us that closings will begin in early '09 -- can anyone confirm?  The Foundry has said that they already have sent out closing notices, which I guess means people will be closing in early to mid-December.  Can anyone confirm this?
