Hi, thank you for your support. LUCKY MOJOS at 5-14 51st Avenue opens tomorrow (Friday) to the public. The place is funky, serves late, and is kid friendly (kids 10 and under eat for free every day from 5 pm - 7 pm.) We feature awesome BBQ, New Orleans staples, a little Mexican, and great orignal Sushi. Our chefs hail from Nobu and Haru.

I know the menu is all over the place, but I assure you everything is good to great and once you see thep lace you'l lsee how it all ties in. I love the neighborhood and miss having options so hence Lucky Mojo, a unique restaurant created for a unique neighborhood. It's not Brother Jimmy's, it's not Jacquesimos, and it's not Bamboo Bernies. Instead it's a little of each but done in an original manner designed for LIC.

I went by there yesterday- is this the old Smokey's with the BBQ sign outside of it?

I stopped in for dinner tonight and very much enjoyed it.  We had the popcorn shrimp and crawfish, sushi, catfish fingers, and blackened chicken.  The food really was terrific.
