The neighborhood was hopping!
Up to Neighborhood Discussion
Looked like a great night out there tonight, for area restaurants, and the guy selling flowers at the deli on Vernon. Tournesol was packed by 7pm, Domain was busy, Tuk Tuk was wall to wall. Some friends were at PJ Leahy's and said they had a few dozen shrimp for 25 cents a piece, and great wings, too. Took a walk to the pier, and Riverview was jumping. That's as far as we got--so I hope Cafe Henri, Bella Via, Masso, Lounge 47, Blend, O'Reilly's and the rest had good crowds, too. It was nice to see everyone out and about!!
We went to Lucky Mojos for diner and it was also full (both floors). Earlier (6PM) I walked by Bella Via and it was already busy. I stopped over at Purple Pumpkin to get some Valentine gifts and it was busier than usual.
Manetta's was *PACKED* to the gills. I think all the area restaurants were caught off guard by the arrival of so many new people within the last year. Domaine was also hopping.
Between the 2 new buildings, Rockrose and Avalon North, there must be a few more thousand people than last year.
Can't wait to see how this summer is around here!

WTB is going to be CRAZY this year.

WTB was already crazy last year...I went a lot less because it lost its neighborhood feel...
But you are right, I am sure it will be even more crazy this year...
I'm turning into a curmudgeon...I wish people would stop moving to the neighborhood already!
