Looks like the last one leaves 34th Street at 6:37 p.m. If I remember correctly, last year the final ferry left around 7 or 7:30.

There used to be a ferry in the 7pm hour, but they got rid of it when the new 2008 schedule came out, and they added the earlier boat, in the 3pm timeframe. The more riders they have from our area, the more we can have a voice regarding schedules. They won't add boats for just a handful of riders. Spread the word!

Check this out---some companies give discounts on multi-trip passes through Wageworks (and maybe TransitChek.) You can get the monthly pass for $165 rather than the list price $195, for example.

it is retarded that it takes 30 minutes to get to and from wall st...that is why no one cares...you can go to jersey in 40 minutes...

smokey--yes, bikes are allowed. the deckhand will secure it with a bungee cord to the front deck railing.

avaday--it takes 30 mins dock to dock to get to wall street, with stops at 34th st, schaffer's landing, dumbo, then pier 11 wall street.  when i take the subway, it's 30 minutes as well, with the #7, xfer to either 4/5 or to 2/3, then the walk to wall street. it's a personal preference for me---i'd prefer to take the ferry and pay more, than to take the subway. i haven't missed that boiling urine smell at times square, or the lack of air conditioning one bit!! getting fresh air to and from work is like a detox---a great way to start and end the day.  my point in posting was to get a sense of NY Water Taxi's marketing effort (or lack thereof.) aside from that, as with most topics on this board, there are many opinions, pros and cons....and it all comes down to personal choice, and having more choices than the MTA.
