Thank you all for your suggestions on locations for Sushi. After not finding anythnig that made sense, we opted to incorporate a complete Sushi/Sashimi menu at the restaurant we are opening at 5-14 51st Avenue on November 12. Contrary to rumors it's not Jacquesimos New Orleans nor Brother Jimmy's, it's LUCKY MOJO. While I did start Brother Jimmy's and operate Jacquesimos, Lucky Mojo is very different although it does incorporate food from both.  

As a resident of the hood I believe I an understanding of what resdients want. So LUCKY MOJO'S menu offeris "What U Want When You Want It."

We are going to serve food  7 days a week for lunch and dinner and get this, we are gonig to serve late; 11 durnig the week and midnight on weekends for both in house and delivery.

Our menu has a bit of BBQ (awesome ribs), a bit of Mexican, some great New Orleans items, and yes an awesome selection of Sushi and Sashimi featuring chefs from Nobu and Haru. 

My wife and I have a one year old son and I have met a number of famalies as a result. One of the Brother Jimmy's tradtions that we are bringing over is that kids 10 and under eat for free. So every day from 5 - 7 kids 10 and under are gonig to eat free when accompanieds by adults eating. The restaurant is large so parents need not worry about their kids bothering others. Just check us out and relax.

Wish you all the best in your new business.  I will definitely stop by and check it out.  I saw that 5SL sales office is coming down.  Do you know what is going up in its place?
