Hunters Point South
Up to Neighborhood Discussion
Judging from the preliminary plan on page 30, via the url below; it looks like the western facing views from the Powerhouse are going to be severly compromised. It might have to be removed as a selling point. Also, I wonder if the prices will reflect that. In Addition, it appears that the same will happen to the south & southwestern views, of Avalon Riverview I & II and Citylights.

the woodside herald paper dated october 5,2007 had a notice for a public meeting about hunters point south. the meeting will be held on october 18 at 6:30p at the citicorp building, 1 court square, long island city, 3rd floor cafeteria. for more information call community board 2 at 718 533 8773 or email commboard@nyc.rr.com. according to the notice, the public will be able to speak and written statements will be accepted.

Everyone with concerns over the layout and construction timetables of Hunters Point South, should be at that meeting. There's nothing like hearing it directly from the source.
Jake, maybe it would be a good idea to include this on the website calender.
