Echelon?

Would love to hear any comments about the Echelon. I had been looking at the waterfront highrises and love them, but Echelon looks great too. It's obviously farther from the water, which is a minus, and the immediate area doesn't look as nice. What do y'all think? Is it safe? Pros and cons?

I like the echelon. I understand the views are amazing from the waterside hgh-rises, but I have gotton a bit tired of them livin in one for the past 15 years in manhattan. These smaller condos in lic may end up having a bit more community and less big city feel. Its a taste thing. Either is two blocks from vernon in hunters point.
Pros: view, parking, space, gym, roofdeck, convenience of more subways.
Cons:a bit farther from the water, a few of those pesky walk-thru items Arris discusses, but the contractor is still on site.
It's actually a very convenient location.

Echelon is a cool building, and is close to everything. C'mon you have Manducati's at the corner, what else do you want?
