I'm not arguing whehter these prices are affordable or not, but it really amazes me that anyone is actually surprised at all by the pricing on this. By now it is a fairly well established pattern that pricing with each new development in LIC is going up. These prices, however, are still substantially below costs in Manhattan and quality of construction is arguably much higher - hence the high demand.

I have to agree with Scullc here.

Gantry is much more pricy for a 2B/2B with no fancy stuff like a 125 sqft balcony and Kohler - Viking kitchen.
