As someone who's lived in the nabe for ten years, I'm familiar with 7 shutdowns. They have happened six or seven weeekends a year EVERY YEAR.
I recognize the need for line maintenance. The signals in the system are probably original issue. So if they're going to shut down the line for the next few weekends, all right. But we've had death by a thousand cuts for a decade. FINISH THE WORK.
