Tough choice, Arris looks sooo nice, but this market is scary. It doesn't appear that they have had a lot of success selling the more expensive units? I wonder if this is why. What happens if the building remains half unsold?

We went again to confirm our decision today and looked at our future home. It's still packed with buyers. We can't get any clear info of how many have sold but based on the broker who intro us to the building, there are like 95 contracts out since the showing, which is like only a week. We are also very eager to know how many people have purchased the apt. It is definitely a lot of units there in Arris. So, this is going to be very exciting to see!

This is definitely not scientific, but I started tracking Arris sales on Friday based on what's posted as "Available" on their web site. In copying and pasting the listings to Excel and running match functions, I found that 34 units got taken off as of Sunday, 10 new units got posted, and 2 units got re-listed after originally being pulled. The highest $/sq ft unit I see sold since keeping track is $908.12, while the $$$ unit sold is $1.315M.

thanks for that, it would be interesting if you could post more examples. i can't see that arris could appreciate from these levels, whick are very toppish, don't you think? wouldn't they have closed more than 1/2 by now? in talking with brokers, i heard numbers frm 70-125 contracts out, no one really knows for sure. also, the website could be deceiving us all - don't you think?

Like many of the new buildings, the first set of people will buy in leaving probably 20% towards the end (look at Gantry sales).

That being said, they also will increase the prices as demand climbs so there is something to be said for getting in early.
