Supposedly they're using similar glass to the windows in airport terminals to block the noise, but agreed that's one of the concerns that I have about the place.

Kyle, that's the one. Still undecided if I want to pull the trigger on it though. Lots of question marks and risks ... I think.

all the fancy windows in the world won't help with the vibrations that the trains will cause when they come by. you can get a high floor 2 br/2 bth in CL with waterfront/city views for $500-$600K. throw in all the coop, high maintenance, older building, yadayadyada you want, but i still don't see how these new to market housing prices are supported by anything more than pent up demand.

"Similar glass to the windows in airport terminals" is only useful if the windows are closed all the time. Fresh air is nice once in a while.
