tell me about it. I'm losing sleep over this. Especially b/c if we can't sell our place for the right price then we're screwed. IS there anyway out of this? My attorney did say that the contract didn't mention anything about not being able to assign the contract. It just says we need approval from the developer.

Yep, I am also losing the sleeps too cuz the mortgage is high and I am trying to find a good broker. Based on what we know, we should be able to hold on to it for a while since it's definitely a great design and place to be called home. we have been looking for a long time. The thing is that most places in Manhattan are small and pricy so Arris Lofts is our best buy. We have been reading and looking into the developers' history. They have some really luxury condo in Manhattan and I think we shall be ok. Well, we hope!
