$600 per sf?

i'm thinking of buying there as well. interested if anyone knows of any "view blockers" construction being planned in the near future. will the new citicorp building affect any views? how about the parking garage on the court street side of the building? do you think what will be there or be demonished someday? how would one go about trying to ascertain this info? seems like they are selling pretty quickly. the noise level is high, but the structure is still open. in the lofts i viewed, with the windows closed, it wasn't too bad. any fedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
hi there - assuming you've checked the site and know that your unit is now priced at $550k? everything's gone up by about 5%. it's swaying me toward buying mine!
fds, yeah I did notice the increase, but I'm still skeptical for a couple of reasons ... (1) Clearly the Sunshine Group knows that we will be checking their website, so this is a brilliant marketing ploy with little risk. Either we see the increases and get excited enough to pull the trigger, or if we decide not to bite, they probably can get a higher price from the next buyer; (2) admittedly, the value will go up from our initial price, but what happens once the place sells out and demand shifts elsewhere? If they sell everything this month, then there's a 9 month lag before we move in with no marketing, no buzz and therefore less interest. Meanwhile, new places start springing up for 500-600 per sf, and we're left owning the most expensive house on the block, so to speak.
Having said that, I still might buy.

i like you dg. we have they same concerns. Unlike you our price per square foot is over $700 for the unit we're in love w/. It's scary isn't it? Also, with the fact that Purves went for sale the same wknd for much cheaper $$, it makes it even harder to decide. I'm sorry I don't have much feedback for you, just wanted to share in the indecision
