For those who did not realize, we are speaking of THE Mayo Simon!! the one who wrote Marooned for Columbia Pictures, Futureworld for MGM, Phase IV for Paramount, and I Could Go On Singing for United Artists. His short documentary, Why Man Creates (with Saul Bass), won a number of international prizes including an Academy Award for best short subject. His plays have been produced in many theaters in this country and in Europe. His book, THE AUDIENCE & THE PLAYWRIGHT (Applause Theatre & Cinema Books), appeared in July 2003. He has taught screen writing at Columbia University and UCLA and play writing at the University of Cincinnati.

He is a very deep & spiritual man and i am sure his talk will be extremly interesting and motivating.
