Monday, March 13th, join the Jewish community of Long Island City and Astoria for a grand Purim bash and Masquerade at The Creek and The Cave @ 1093 Jackson Ave., corner 11th St. at 6:30pm until late. Live entertainment by Hassidic rapper YLove, backed by DJHandler. I am considering moving to LIC and am wondering if there is an Orthodox synagogue in the area. I currently go to Young Israel and would prefer something similar. If you can also provide me with the address or with a contact, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

There are two orthodox synagouges that I know of. I have never been to either for a service as I do not live in the area - as of yet. I do not have the rabbis contact info handy. If you email me during the day rivzev@aol.com i should have it.
In the meantime you can meet some potential neighbors at our Purim Party! and im sure youll have a good time as well!
