I guess the guy that is converting the shady motel to a boutique hotel is not as crazy after all.

He is not crazy, but his is about 2 year too early.

Might have to rent rooms on an hourly rate for a few years. :)

Looks promising. Their sign on the waterfront reminds me of the Pepsi sign.

Pretty soon the LIC waterfront will look like the LIE as soon as you come out of the Queens Midtown Tunnel...billboards EVERYWHERE. :)

I HATE those billboards. I wish our local government would just pass a law against them.

As for the signs, both the Pepis and Silvercup have been there forever.

So, does that mean the mini-powerplant has to go? :)

The Silvercup one has been near Queensboro Plaza for awhile, but not the one on the waterfront. I wonder if it'll be a second sign for them, or will they move the first one?
