Hallet's Cove
Up to Neighborhood Discussion
Does anyone know details about the pre-construction sales listing for Hallet's Cove condos in this Sunday's NYT Real Estate section. Metropolis Realty is listed as agent, no address given for building to be built.
Hallet's Cove is considered to be Astoria, NY. It's right by an old furniture factory. It's where kayaks launch sometimes...more by the Triborough Bridge in Astoria than LIC.
It's amazing that so many real estate projects are claiming to be in LIC these days while they're really in Astoria or Sunnyside, etc.

Metropolis Realty sucks donkey balls. I rented an apartment in Astoria there years ago from them and it was gross and noisy and right at the ramp to get on the Triborough Bridge. Words can't describe the suckiness of that place.
Yuck.

Technically they can refer to any area in Queens with a zip code that begins with "111xx" as "Long Island City".
