Dig the New Signs

The powers-that-be installed new "No Pets on the Lawn" sign to the lightposts in Peninsula Park.

Stunner: Many dog owners are either illiterate or selfish, as there were plenty of dogs on the grass in the morning and afternoon.

Anyone handy with tranquilizer guns that are effective for dogs *and* humans?

They work for me.

I had the chance to give a few nasty looks to some dog owners yesterday who were letting there dogs prance around on the lawn.

Funny thing, it actually worked. Must be a good look. :)

Yeah - saw the signs and the dogs on the lawn Saturday. At the same time the ranger was locked in his little office- only know because he came out to briefly use the bathroom.

You must have misread the signs - they would be somewhat civil if they said that.

I guess the two guys throwing ball are also selfish - that activity ruins the grass as well.

Not sure why you would want to tranquilize the dogs?

I wonder what the grass will look like after the 4th of July?

I doubt many people will go to the bathroom on the lawn during that day. Dogs, on the other hand, have a tendency of doing that.
