Potential OHP/HV Buyers/In-contract
Up to Hunters Point Condos
I've managed to schedule a second walkthrough (last time I did one was back in the first week of January) this coming Saturday at OHP.
I bought in the 1br L-series so I can probably speak on behalf of the guys who bought in that. Additionaly, I'm hoping they'll show me the other "public" areas of the building as well. Any advice on what else I should keep a lookout for than just the basics? I'm just going to bring a measuring tape...camera....so hopefully that'd be good enough.
Lastly, it sounds like the main open questions I've been reading are:
1) Make/Model of shower doors
2) Revised move-in date (mid oct vs mid nov)
Any other questions you'd like me to ask since I'll be there in person?
we also asked two weeks ago about the make and model of the "upgrade" and still no answer to date....
we heard that there will a model apartment open on the 2nd floor very soon. when will we be able to get in to see it? i'm curious what sort of response you'll get about november closing. i watch the progress of the building and i really don't see mid october happening at all. i don't want a rush job, trust me, but also closing on our place during the holidays will suck, big time.
i did a walk through today & still lots to do at HV- Patrick says realistic move-in date will be late Oct/early Nov but thinks by the holidays (we shall see). least its more realistic than Sept 1
disappointing the lack of progress. Yet another building project caught in the pattern of "just two more months to go".
It seems the longer we wait to close, the more chances people are going to get screwed by what's going on with the banks with the lending and mortgage rates. No finance contigency is really going to hurt if people don't get loans...
