Does anyone have any info on the billboards around our building, specifcally the one right on the corner of vernon and borden?  I believe it's an Audi advertisement now.  I was assuming it was part of the OHP property and it would be taken down once building was complete.  However, talking to one of the sales reps it didn't seem to be the case.  I would think this billboard would block the sun for the garden.  Any ideas? 

I would be shocked if that billboard came down.  Every car entering the midtown tunnel sees it, it probably generates a lot of revenue for whoever owns it.  I don't think it is a big deal for the garden.  I would be more concerned with the billboard across the street on the LIRR property.  If you have a South facing apartment on the eastern half of the building, the lights from that billboard may really be distracting at night when you look out the window.  Of the two billboards, I would much rather see the one on the LIRR property come down.

i think that i remember from the offering plan for OHP that the billboard above the garden will be ivy covered from the building side. those people in the A line on the lower floors will look directly at it.
