I don't mind the extra time so much, this way I can make sure I have all the closing money ready. I was told by my lawyer it should be around $27 with all the fees from bank and sponsor. Does this seem accurate? One thing that has me worried is when the bank estimates the value and it's below what the purchase price because of all the housing issues.

and does anyone know how many percent that are sold out as of now? last time I spoke to Patrick it was just above 50%, which has been the case for the past 4 months.

Hopefully for all of us the bank will appraise the units for the price we will close on. I think it highly likely they will, since other units in LIC have closed at a much higher $/sq. ft. 5SL is a good example. HPC prices are in the $600-$750 (?) range while 5SL had units going in the $900's in some cases. We bought in HPC because the price made sense for the neighborhood. I'm glad the 5SL folks paid what they did, beacuse it makes our unit seem like an even better idea.

When you get a notification letter about the closing date of your unit, is the sponsor legally responsible for delivering it on that date?
