closing update
Up to Hunters Point Condos
Got a letter today that Hunters View is on schedule to begin closings on or about Sept. 1. The constuction guys on site were confident that Sept. 1 was going to happen. No word on OHP.
...and for saying that it be ready on or around the middle of October 2008, but might be later due to force majeure etc they have to spend our money to send it by Fedex. If we got it yesterday or today wouldn't have made a differenece.
the cost of the fed ex is minimal in the grand scheme of things. No matter how many fed ex letters they send it won't raise your purchace price
I can understand your frustration, though. These projects are NEVER delivered on time. My best freind is looking to close on his unit in the city almost a year late in a building that only had 18 units. It could be delivered late for any number of reasons that the developer may or may not have control over. Ah, the world of new construction real estate.
