My roommate and I are looking for someone to share our three bedroom apartment with in Long Island City. The apartment is being completely renovated, and will be available to move into on November 1, possibly a couple of days sooner. The apartment has 2 average sized bedrooms (both big enough for a queen bed plus) and one master bedroom. All have a window. It is on Vernon Blvd, (the heart of Long Island City) and is 4 blocks away from the 7 train (vernon jackson). The G train is also nearby, and the E,V trains are a short walk away. There is a grocery store and Duane Reade one block away and a 24/7 deli down the street.

About Us:

We are both females, and 23 years old. Both of us are public accountants at the same firm. We are friendly, keep busy, and most importantly are respectful. I travel a couple months out of the year for work, and both my roommate and myself work 6 days a week for part of the year. We do a lot together and are also involved in other things too, such as playing sports, going to the gym, shopping, hanging out with friends, going to museums, etc... We are both social drinkers, but don't do much partying in the apartment. Lastly, we have one cat.

Looking For:

We are looking for someone in their mid-20's, male or female, professional, responsible and respectful. We also need someone that will pay the rent on time, without excepton. Otherwise, we are pretty easy going, and just want someone cool to live with.

Finances:
1 month rent ($1,000 - 1,100, depending on the bedroom)
1 month security deposit ($1,000 - 1,100, depending on the bedroom)
1/3 the total brokers fee ($1,000)
Plus utilities (cable, internet, elec)

In total, it would be between $3,000 - $3,200 to move in. We are looking for someone to stay for a year, but are flexible.
