GREEN MARKET OPENS SATURDAY JULY 12TH (48th Ave, from 07/10/2008 10:04 to 07/12/2008 11:30)

The Green Market is back for a fourth season to bring locally grown farm fresh produce to Hunters Point. located on 48th Ave. between Vernon Blvd and 5th Street. Every Saturday 8AM - 3PM through November.

New Free Summer Concert Series at Gantry Plaza State Park (Gantry Plaza State Park , from 06/24/2008 19:00 to 06/24/2008 20:15)

Free outdoor performances featuring some of the borough’s most celebrated entertainers, from Afro-Brazilian jazz musicians to Japanese punk rockers, with acts for audience members of all ages. Live at the Gantries’ nine nights will take place on Tuesdays at 7 o’clock at Gantry Plaza State Park, a 2.5-acre waterside oasis between 49th and 50th Avenues along the East River. The series will run from June 24th to August 26th.

The schedule and bars are listed on the left along with approximate times that the crawl will arrive. If you want to meet up with the crawl, shoot for the last place it was supposed to be and check there first. We will try to keep a tight schedule but expect delays.
