Hey - does anyone know what the across the board hold ups are on getting the new retail tenants in and open in 4720 and 4705?  I've never seen retail fit outs move so slowly - it has taken longer for them to get set up then to build the high rise itself.

The SHI* restaurant has not been touched in weeks.  I understand Amish market is only a couple of weeks away from opening (which has been the version for the last six months) and the Duane Read is finally getting built out.  The golden rule of retail is you can't earn any revenue if you aren't open.

yeah, it's funny that we have lived in the EastCoast I. building since it opened two years ago... and now we are moving out just before everything opens in the area... It really sucked to be without a real grocery store or a pharmacy for the past two years... i hope you guys will finally get to enjoy the luxury of having both

syda: it seems like we are moving to Ditmars/Astoria, but have not signed the papers yet. so until then nothing is 100% sure.
