A real flower shop

Jake, As you know that really is not a fair characteization of what that store either was or tried to be.
In fact, although they had a few flowers and some health food items, I am not sure how to characterize it, but I certainly would not call it a florist. I purchase flowers all the time at both Crest at the Citibank Building and at the Deli on Vernon, but I never even remotely considered purchasing flowers there. The owner had absolutely no clue.
In contrast, The owner of the new flower shop is in the flower buisiness already in LIC. He does flowers for among other places Silvercup Studios. He wants to open a retail shop to augment his corporate work. He is going to be around a long time because his retail business is just gravy and it is a way to market himself to corporations, prospective brides, and events planners.
