Is the Riverview building really going to be only 32 floors?
Will the design bring it to 35 or 36 floors?

Basically, what I'm asking is which floors on Citylights
do you think will keep their view of South NYC?

Ah, now all is clear. Thx EA. Wow, a floor a week sounds fast and good. It is interesting to see a building go up from day one.

Yo DoG you posted same message three times.

Queen of the obvious!

Had a bit of trouble with the post.

Hope someone can answer the question though.

If you look at the master plan for QueensWest, each building is limited to a certain height. That height is defined for each building in feet. Citylights was limited to 390 feet. The south building is limited to 300 feet. The larger north building is also limited to 300 feet. I am fairly sure this includes the mechanical room on the roof, as well. A decent rule of thumb is that a floor equals 10 feet (it depends on the type of building and design), and the Riverview would then be about 27 stories plus the mechanical equipment on the roof. I think most people below the 31st floor, more or less, will have their straight line of sight blocked.

Look at the queenswest.org website. There's a map of the development there.
