Roads will be closed this coming Sunday, May 6 for Bike New York, the annual five borough tour around the city. To drive in and out of Queens West, use Borden Ave. which passes under Pulaski Bridge with quick access to the Midtown tunnel and the LIE.

Good stuff... I assume it is the same route as the marathon? Is there a start / stop time?

The tour will start in lower Manhattan at 8am and proceed through Central Park and Harlem to cross into the Bronx. Then it's down the FDR, over the Queensborough Bridge, looping through Astoria before passing through Long Island City. That's about twenty miles. The rest of the trip continues through Brooklyn and over the Verrazano Bridge to finish at Staten Island. The route is not exactly the same as the Marathon because Bike New York chooses much wider and more direct roads.
