Although I like the idea of the tags, so far the implementation has been lackluster.

First off, I hope that the installation is not done. The pipes hanging from the ceiling with exposed wires hanging all the way from the gates to the office look awful. Does not seem professionally made or installed.

Secondly, ever since the system went live, getting in and out of the garage has been a complete crap shoot. Sometimes it opens right up, other times it doesn't. Sometimes I wait, then back up, then go forward and the gate opens. Not much rhyme or reason as far as I can tell. Yesterday I came in from the south side entrance waited 2 mins and then just decided to back out and go around to the north side entrance where after a few backwards and forward maneuvers at the gate it finally let me it!!

At first I had the tag on my windshield next to my ezpass (where I was first told to mount it when I bought it). That didn't work at all so I was told by one of our parking attendants (all of our attendants are so nice) to move the tag down where my registration is. Since I moved it there it has been working as described above. Now one of the guys that was working on the system and watched as I tried to come in unsuccessfully told me to put it on the top left corner of the windshield. It is frustrating to be left with all this velcro on my windshield. Also it makes me wonder if the system is that sensitive to where my tag is mounted, how is that going to work with all the different sized vehicles in the garage?

Wondering what the plan is for this system...
