Stop Work Order on Citylights

Yes, I do. I don't leave it open for 12 hours, but a couple of minutes will help. What do you do? Order food every day. Any this is my point, You use one example "In the thick of winter" but what about the other 10 months. Grow up.
larryd, no need to be sorry on my part. I am for getting this project done ASAP. While not being able to use our outdoor space sucks it will be the only way to get this project done. I have a child as well and my windows also open 3" but if you need further ventilation use a fan to maximize the air flow. We could kick and scream all throughout this process but it has to be done or else we could have greater problem down the road. Maybe the board and DNA could have the shareholders that disagree with the policy, sign a disclaimer that does not make them responsible for any harm caused to any person using the balcony / terrace while this whole project is going on.
I certainly didn't call the DOB because I want this to be completed as soon as possible but the ventilation is problematic. I turned my "den" area into a 2nd bedroom. Therefore the terrace door is the only ventilation I have for the living room area. I keep the door to the bedrooms closed when I am not home because I don't want the dog in there. Now the dog is forced to be in the living room with no ventilation. When I got home the first day they locked the terrace door it had to be at least 100 degrees inside. Therfore, I now have to keep the living room a/c on when I am not home and its hot outside. Not good financially or environmentally but I can't think of anything else. Can't tie the dog up because he would bark all day long. I can see them blocking access to terraces that don't have anything above them to block falling items (like the 6th floor) and when they replace the railings. But, I don't see the need for all of them at this time. Also, I don't think the A and B lines are locked yet. How is it that its too dangerous for me to be out there becuase the wind could blow something and whack me in the head but the wind doesn't blow towards A and B?????
Anyone who thinks a fan would remedy my ventilation issues should come to my apartment in the afternoon on a day when it's been 85'+ outside. I live on the south side and also have a child and I'm pregnant as well. I sometimes leave the door to the hall way open just to try and get a little bit of air to pass through the 3" opening in my window. To state the obvious, it doesn't work.
Oh and I can't wait to get my electric bill for this past month.
Just a suggestion: Get pet gates for the bedroom doors to keep the dog out of the bedrooms but get some of the air into the living room. (I know it's not a solution, but it might help a bit.)
