Hi,

I just had my counters and floors redone in the kitchen and was VERY satisfied with the guy who did the work.  He was professional, easy to talk to and did excellent work.  I just wanted to pass this along to everyone.  He has done a few apartments in the building already and is familiar with all the 'quirks' of the building.

His name:  William Rosa

Company: D-Lux (a family owned company, been in business for years)

Phone: 203-650-6606

He did my floor originally (about 2 months ago) and did excellent work.  Then I picked a granite countertop that I liked, but the place could not do work in the building because either they didn't want to get the required insurance that they needed for the building or they just didn't have the insurance (I believe the first part because this company has been in business for 25 years on Long Island and probably just didn't want to deal with the additional insurance requirements our building requires).  That led me back to this guy, William Rosa.  He went and picked up the granite I picked in Long Island (he is in Connecticut, but does a lot of work in the city) and cut it and installed it for me.  Very easy guy to talk to and very professional crew.

Next project is the bathroom hopefully next year and there is no doubt in my mind that I will go to this guy to do all the work.

I know how hard it is to find a good contractor, so I just wanted to pass this info along.

I'm thinking redoing the kitchen countertops and also painting the cabinet fronts white and would appreciate any photos of your project. My worry is that the oak grain will show thru the paint. Thanx in advance, Mike apt 12C mm2shore@hotmail.com
