So, the fireworks now are not going to be in front of Citylights?  There were many pissed off people at Gantry Park last night.  What's up with that?  All the barges were together and not spread out like in the past!

The police didn't even know what was going on... How can that be?

If this is going to happen next year, we should not spend the money for all the security on the building and everything that we do since the fireworks are not even here anymore....

Get over it folks. We  are on the south side of CL and had a perfect view of the fireworks.  That's the breaks.

How very selfish of you, drummerd!  There were thousands of people denied their usual view of the fireworks due to this Macys maneuver.  I suggest you read the threads on this subject on the Neighborhood Board, liqcity and Gothamist.
