UP IN ARMS
Up to Citylights Discussion
Why aren't the residents of Citylights starting a revolution? How's your life at Citylights been in the last few months? Well it's not going to get any better for the next year of two. We have paid Rose an additional $150,000 to run the facade project, what have they done for this money? They increased the time frame an additional 6 months to a year and increased the cost an estimated 1-1.5 million. This is fact. They okay-ed the work on three sides of the building so almost everyone is inconvenienced for the duration. They implemented the locking of all balcony doors also for the duration of the project. They approved the waterproofing which the Board voted down last year. Our own engineer said he would not want his own kids to live in this building with those chemicals being applied. The original idea to fix what was necessary to appease local law 11 and fix water leaks and return life to the shareholders went out the window. They have now dramatically increased everything they can do to delay giving us our lives back and bankrupt all our savings. I think it is time the shareholders speak out. The question that comes to mind is "WHY WAS THERE NO BI-ANUAL SHAREHOLDERS MEETING?" This was done on purpose to keep us in the dark and allow them (the BOD) to what they wanted with no consequences in answering to the shareholders. Remember this when you vote next month for a new Board. Lets see if they even rented Con Ed for the required Sept election. It is time to stop worrying about BBQs because you wont be able the common area this year, next year and most likely the year after that. It is time for everyone to spend their energies where it will do the most good. Organize and stop this madness like we did last year before it is to late. Lets return life to normal ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
