Subleasing in Citylights

Posted by nc1981 at July 12. 2008

Does anyone have any experience with the tenant approval process for subleasing?  I am reluctant to shell out over $1000 in non-refundable fees simply for the priveledge of them processing my application without any assurance as to the likelihood of approval.  Any insight or thoughts would be much appreciated....thanks :)

We subleased in CL 2 years ago. The process was pretty painless, except financially speaking, the $1000 fee is pretty ridiculous. Ours took a long time (over 1.5 months), but supposedly our application was "lost" on someone's desk. I think there is a new management company now, so maybe they are better than the previous. There was also a move in fee and amenity fee on top of the $1000, but that was 2 years ago, so not sure that still applies. All in all, if you are in good standing financially approval should be smooth. We did since move into one of the nearby Rockrose buildings and the same process took less than 24 hours, only cost $150 and no move in fee plus MUCH better amenities! Although we do miss the CL front desk crew. Good luck!
