AC Leaking inside apartment

Posted by cman at June 28. 2009

Has anyone ever had their AC leak inside their apartment? It seems that when we turn ours on now, water drips relatively constantly (every 5-8 seconds) from the bottom corner of one of our units (inside the housing) under the control panel. This first appeared last summer. Is there any chance this could be related to the work they did outside?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

hi, we had this problem also, after speaking to glen, he came to look and we were told that this was a problem from when the building was built, some of the ac units were "tilted inward" thereby having the condensation come in,rather than go out. they rectified this problem (speakto him and ask what he did in 36H) and also make sure they check your floor under the ac unit for water damage. good luck

Sounds like your drain plug is clogged. Common, yet a very easy fix.
